When the National Art Gallery Committee(NAGC) conceptualized the Bridgetown Whisperpost project, one of the most exciting features of the programme was that for the first time the rich artistic world of Barbados would become accessible and inclusive of the Blind and visually impaired members of the community.

A world of possibilities locked within each child
The Sunshine Early Stimulation Centre was recently opened for children from birth to five years. The Centre is designed to provide a goal-oriented, time limited developmental and early intervention programme that enables children with disabilities to reach and maintain optimum levels of physical, intellectual, emotional and social functioning.
