Kregg Nurse

Kregg Nurse on graduation day at UWIThe late Kregg Nurse will forever be an inspiration to all persons with and without disabilities. His zest for life, outstanding intelligence and winning personality remains a cherished memory by many and missed by all.

Kregg was a brilliant student and throughout his academic career he continually proved himself to be an outstanding intellect despite having muscular dystrophy. Kregg achieved the highest overall CXC scores in 1992, and then achieved a Bachelor of Science from the University of the West Indies. Kregg became a certified accountant and continued to strive for excellence in all his professional endeavours. Kregg worked at Ernst and Young Caribbean and became a valued member of their team. All persons who dealt with him on a daily basis spoke highly of his professionalism, his dedication and his accurate handling of their work.

In addition to his academic prowess, Kregg was a keen sport enthusiast. Not only did Kregg ensure his presence at the Cricket World Cup held in England and major football tournaments in North-America, but he served as manager to the Ernst and Young Cricket team. Team members were never left wanting once Kregg was in charge.

Apart from his love of sport and other achievements, Kregg had an indefatigable spirit, which showed in all things fun loving and beautiful. He was a loyal friend to many, the soul of the party and a dearly loved and valued family member.

Kregg exemplifies determination to succeed against all the odds the world can throw at anyone.
